Clean, comfortable rooms with plenty of storage. Spacious and well-equipped common areas for hanging out. Free breakfast included with a variety of options. Convenient location for ferries and exploring the area.

Stairwell and staircases could use some cleaning and updating. Showers were cramped and not powerful enough.

The unique Sky Room lounge was the highlight of my stay. It felt like I was on top of the world, gazing out over the rooftops of Oban towards the stunning sunset beyond the island of Mull. The views were simply breathtaking and it provided the perfect setting to relax and socialize with fellow travelers. I felt like I was in a movie, surrounded by the comfiest sofas and meeting interesting people from all over the world.

The value for money at Backpackersplus was excellent - clean rooms, comfy beds, and a great location near shops. The staff were super friendly and the facilities, like the kitchen and common areas, were top-notch.

For breakfast, a wider variety of options would have made it even better.

The kitchen is stocked with seasonings, cookware, and appliances to go round; the lounge area is cushy and inviting; the pillows on the bunks are super fluffy; the bathrooms are tidy and clean. The location is near the city centre and shops, and the comfortable bunk beds have plenty of lockable space for your luggage. The free breakfast is a bonus. The staff is very pleasant and the facilities, like the kitchen and common areas, are excellent. a mind-blowingly comfortable and super enjoyable stay!

I recently stayed at Backpackersplus in Oban for a few nights and had a wonderful experience. The hostel has a spacious and well-equipped kitchen, complete with plenty of seasonings and cooking tools. The lounge common area is comfortable and bright, and the pillows on the bunks are incredibly fluffy. The location, a converted church, is charming and conveniently close to shops. The bunk beds were comfortable and provided ample lockable storage space. The free breakfast was a fantastic bonus. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

I can just recommend this hotel.
